The feature film "Axiom" by writer-director Jöns Jönsson is about Julius, an eloquent young museum attendant who is universally popular. But the mood shifts when he invites his colleagues to join a sailing trip on his aristocratic family’s boat. Julius is not who he pretends to be. The Bon Voyage Films production – with participation by the broadcasters WDR / Arte and SWR – was shot entirely in NRW. Moritz von Treuenfels and Ricarda Seifried are in the lead roles. The Filmstiftung NRW backed the production with 370,000 Euros. Additional support came from MBB and BKM. Filmperlen is the German distributor. Playmaker will be handling world sales.
