Creative Europe MEDIA
The Creative Europe Desk NRW provides information and advice on all funding opportunities offered by Creative Europe MEDIA and Cross Sector, including those for films, series, games, and XR projects.
Creative Europe is the European Commission’s funding program for the cultural and creative industries as well as the audiovisual sector. Approximately 2.4 billion euros are available for the three subprograms—MEDIA, CULTURE, and CROSS SECTOR—for the period 2021 to 2027.
With 1.4 billion euros, MEDIA supports the development, promotion, and distribution of European audiovisual works. It provides support for films, series, games, and immersive content. Other priorities include professional development and international networking among European stakeholders. The Cross Sector program supports interdisciplinary innovation projects and collaboration among European news media.
CREATIVE EUROPE DESK NRW
As a department of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, we advise the industry in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland on all funding opportunities offered by Creative Europe MEDIA and Cross Sector. We provide support with the application process and also organize events for the regional film and media industry.
