Film und Medien Stiftung NRW"Louis I., King of the Sheep"

The stop-motion short "Louis I., King of the Sheep" by Markus Wulf, based on the illustrated book by Olivier Tallec, is about the rise and fall of a sheep who finds a paper crown and becomes king of the sheep. The screenplay was written by Markus Wulf and Maggie Briggs. Cologne-based Hübner/Wallenfels produced the short as a co-production with autumn song production and Irrelevant Media. Markus Wulf, Levin Hübner and Fabian Wallenfels studied at the ifs international film school cologne. Isabella Rossellini is the narrator in the international version, and Mark Waschke for the German version. The Filmstiftung NRW backed the project with 25,000 Euros. Additional support came from the Stiftung Kuratorium junger deutscher Film and BKM.
