Call for Applications: EXHIBITOR FOR THE GAMING AREA @NRW BOOTH 2026

From August 26–30, 2026, gamescom—the largest event for computer and video games—will take place in Cologne! We’re very excited to see you there again. As in previous years, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW will be part of gamescom. We’ll have a booth in the Business Area (Hall 4.1) showcasing NRW’s gaming and creative scene.

In addition to our stage program and numerous networking opportunities, we invite you to present your playable prototypes in our “Gaming Area” at the booth. If you participate in the Gaming Area, we’ll provide you with the following equipment:
• Monitor, keyboard, and mouse
• Two exhibitor passes and one parking pass
• Lunch for two people
• Free access to our meeting room at the booth
• Electricity and Wi-Fi

Please note: Participation in the Gaming Area is for a one-day slot (approx. 7 hours) on one of the trade visitor days, Wednesday or Thursday (August 26 & 27).

If you’re interested, please apply by Wednesday, May 6, at 11:59 p.m., providing the following information:
• Brief company profile + company logo
• Key art & screenshots of the game
• Additional relevant material about the game (e.g., product pitch, trailer)
• Ideally, submit a playable demo! • What peripherals (headsets, gamepads, etc.) will you bring?
