Call for projects: German-French funding programme

New projects can be submitted with immediate effect until 15.10.2018

The next round of the German-French TV Development Fund has been launched: new projects can be submitted with immediate effect. The deadline for submissions is 15 October, 2018. The goal of the fund – which was launched in 2015 – is the development of TV fiction series to be made as German-French co-productions.

The partners on the German side as of this year are FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, and MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg. On the French side, the Centre National du Cinéma (CNC) and the new addition Region Grand-Est support this fund which has a total annual budget of 200,000 Euros at its disposal, with a maximum level of funding of 50,000 Euros per project.

The application form and a fact sheet can be downloaded from the websites of the CNC and the participating German film funds. The MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg is in charge of coordinating the projects on the German side and is the addressee for the submissions.

The next call for projects is now open and runs until 15 October, 2018. The next sitting of the selection committee is scheduled to be held during the German-French Film Rendezvous which is planned for the end of November in Erfurt.
