Coproduction Breakfast 2025 – “Focus Germany meets Spain” at the German Pavilion

On Sunday, 18 May, FOCUS Germany – the alliance of the nine major regional German film funds – hosted the Coproduction Breakfast “Focus Germany meets Spain” as part of the 78th Cannes International Film Festival. The event welcomed representatives of the Spain Film Commission and the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales, who joined as partners of this year’s networking event.

Producers and industry professionals from Germany and Spain gathered at the German Pavilion to connect, present projects, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

The Coproduction Breakfast is a long-standing networking event hosted by FOCUS Germany, taking place each year in Cannes in collaboration with a changing partner country or region. The German Pavilion is a joint initiative by German Films and FOCUS Germany.
