First EAVE workshop in Cologne
• October 27 – November 3: EAVE European Producers Workshop
• Film- und Medienstiftung NRW backs the last workshop of the three-part programme
• EAVE@Cologne exclusively for NRW’s film industry
The EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) Producers Workshop is being held in Cologne for the first time from October 27 to November 3. 49 producers from 29 countries will be presenting their projects to commissioning editors, buyers and other representatives of the international film industry. The German participant this year is the Cologne-based film producer Ingmar Trost of Sutor Kolonko („Das Zimmermädchen Lynn“). The workshop, which is being backed by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, is the last module of a three-part programme and also offers excellent opportunities for networking to film and media professionals from NRW.
EAVE@Cologne
On October 30 and 31, EAVE, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and Creative Europe Desk NRW will be hosting the EAVE@Cologne programme of lectures which have been devised exclusively for the local film industry. The focus is on international co-productions, film financing, sales and marketing. The speakers will include the Oscar-nominated documentary producer Lise Lense-Møller (DK), Diana Elbaum (Entre Chien et Loup, BE), Jean-Luc Ormières of the VoD platform UniversCiné (FR) and the world sales agent Jan Naszewski (New Europe Film Sales, PL).
A Welcome Aperitif and a Dinner with the Decision Makers will take place on Thursday, October 30.
The presentations of the EAVE workshop are also open to interested professionals from NRW. The speakers include Michel Reilhac („Transmedia Session“) and the producer Leila Lyytikäinen („Producing and Developing TV Drama“).
Participation in the English-language workshop is limited and a binding registration is required. The complete programme and the registration form can be found at www.filmstiftung.de.
