MediaTech SPRINT: European Innovation Workshop with Strong Participation from North Rhine-Westphalia
Four participants from North Rhine-Westphalia were selected for MediaTech SPRINT 2026. At the European innovation workshop on October 1 in Potsdam-Babelsberg, selected companies (“Challenge Owners”) will work together with interdisciplinary experts (“Co-Creators”) to develop new solutions for their current business challenges.
Representing North Rhine-Westphalia is Challenge Owner Gordon Vogel (Rivers and Wine) with his project Live Animation Studio. The tool is designed to enable an innovative workflow for animation productions.
The co-creators include Javier Amaya (Rapid Stories AI), a content and AI specialist; illustrator Sabine Dully (Dully&Dax); and creative producer Pratima Pal (Digital Clay).
In addition, solutions are to be found for the following projects: access to film heritage (Arkino, France), AI-powered educational materials for documentary films (Festival Bez, Czech Republic), and a platform for virtual location scouting (Localmeta, Italy).
