NRW at the 52nd International Emmys 2024 – Award for “Dear Child”
The world’s best TV programs have just been awarded the International Emmys in New York City. Among them was a delegation of film and television professionals from North Rhine-Westphalia.
The successful German Netflix series ‘Liebes Kind’ won in the ‘TV Movie / Mini-Series’ category. The award was accepted by Cologne-based director and screenwriter Isabel Kleefeld, director and writer Julian Pörksen, producers Tom Spieß and Friederich Oetker (Constantin Film), among others.
‘Gong! My Spectacular Life’, produced by Cologne-based eitelsonnenschein for KiKA – the children’s channel of ARD and ZDF, was nominated in the ‘Kids: Live Action’ category.
The NRW presentation was organized by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Landesanstalt für Medien NRW. The leading German TV location NRW has been a partner of the International Academy of Television Arts for over 15 years
