"Babylon Berlin" sold to over 140 territories

The Filmstiftung-backed series "Babylon Berlin" has now been sold to over 140 territories worldwide. Among the latest deals are Latin America (AMC), Japan (BS 12) and South Korea (Channel U), announced Beta Film.

„The New Gospel“ celebrated premiere in Venice

Yesterday at 11 a.m. the Filmstiftung-funded production "The New Gospel" by Milo Rau in the section Giornate degli Autori celebrated its premiere at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in the presence of cast and crew.

Dennis Ruh to Head the EFM

On November 1, 2020, Dennis Ruh will take over as director of the European Film Market (EFM) of the Berlinale. Starting on September 15, he will initially work side-by-side with the departing EFM director Matthijs Wouter Knol. Knol will leave the EFM in late October and take on the position of director of the European Film Academy.

Accreditation for European Work in Progress Cologne is now open

The next edition of European Work in Progress Cologne (EWIP) is taking place from 5. to 7. October 2020 during the 30. Film Festival Cologne. The accreditation allows pass holders access to the project presentations, panel discussions and all networking events of European Work in Progress Cologne 2020. Accreditation closes on 15. September.
