Film und Medien Stiftung NRW„Some Day We Will Tell Each Other Everything“

Summer 1990 in a village in East Germany. A country in transition, between the end and a new beginning. 17-year-old Maria is living with her boyfriend on his parents’ farm. But then she meets the neighbour Henner, and a tragic love affair takes its course. Emily Atef directed the tragic love story based on the novel by author Daniela Krien with Marlene Burow, Felix Kramer, Cedric Eich, Silke Bodenbender, Jördis Triebel, Axel Werner, Florian Panzer, Christian ErdmannChristine Schorn, and many more. Filming for „Some Day We Will Tell Each Other Everything“ took place in Thuringia and NRW statt. Leipzig-based ROW Pictures produced, with MDR, Arte, RBB and SWR serving as TV partners. Pandora Film Verleih will release the drama in German cinemas on 16 March, 2023, The Match Factory is handling world sales. The production was backed by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW with 300,000 Euros, with additional support coming from MDM, FFA, BKM and Creative Europe MEDIA.
