IndieLisboa Film Festival: „Liebe, D-Mark und Tod“ gewinnt IndieMusic Award
Der filmstiftungsgeförderte Film „Liebe, D-Mark und Tod“ von Cem Kaya hat in Lissabon beim IndieLisboa Film Festival den IndieMusic Award gewonnen. Der Preis wird im Wettbewerb für den besten Musikdokumentarfilm vergeben. Die 19. Ausgabe des Festivals fand vom 28. April bis 8. Mai statt.
Die Jury begründete ihre Entscheidung mit den Worten: "[…] This is a film that listens and lets us listen, that is shared by all its actors. Without deification or paternalism, it incorporates all the richness and multiplicity contained in the music itself that it tells us about, exemplifying the capacity to transform a position of imposed alterity into a place of identity and confluence, but also of resistance and cultural preservation. A place that is inevitably collective, intergenerational and in constant change."
