"Mammalia" by Sebastian Mihăilescu will be screened as a world premiere in the Forum’s programme. In the film, Camil discovers something sinister when he spies on his partner: a cult in white robes and with strange rituals. Sebastian Mihăilescu’s experimental narrative cinema plays with myths, gender roles and set pieces of the horror genre. He co-wrote the screenplay with Andrei Epure, with a cast including István Téglás, Mălina Manovici, Denisa Nicolae, Steliana Bălăcianu and Rolando Matsangos. Pandora Film produced the film with microFilm (ROU) and Extreme Emotions (POL) in co-production with Bord Cadre Films (CH), Sovereign Films (UK) and HiFilm Productions (ROU). Lights On are handling world sales. The Filmstiftung backed the production with 50,000 Euros.
