Who can apply?

• Applications are accepted from producers
• A German co-producer is required for international projects

What are the conditions?

• At least 1.5 times the funding support must be spent in NRW
• The support may not exceed 50% of the costs
• The support is allocated in the form of a conditionally repayable, interest-free loan
• Recoupment of the film’s revenues going to the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW can be used for a new film project
• Different rules apply for low-budget films

How does it work?

• A consultation is necessary before submitting an application
• The information and documents required for an application are set out in the application forms
• There are five deadlines each year
• The funding decisions are taken by a film funding commitee
