Who can apply?

• Applications can be accepted from producers.
• A German co-producer is required for international projects.

What are the funding conditions?

• At least 1.5 times the funding amount must be spent in North Rhine-Westphalia.
• As a rule, the funding amount can be up to 30% of the costs.
• Support is granted in the form of a conditionally repayable, interest-free loan.
• Recoupment of the film’s revenues going to the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW can be used for a new film project.

How does it work?

• A consultation is required before submitting an application.
• The information and documents required for an application are set out in the application forms.
• There are five deadlines each
• The funding decisions are taken by the Film Funding Committee.
