German MIP Cocktail for MIPCOM 2014 in Cannes
NRW, Berlin-Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg and German Films are joint hosts for the industry get-together
On the occasion of MIPCOM 2014, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg will be the hosts again for the eighth time for the German MIP Cocktail in Cannes together with Berlin Partner for Business and Technology, the Brandenburg Economic Development Board (ZAB), Entertainment Master Class (EMC), MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg and German Films.
The reception will be held on Monday, October 13, and is regarded as an important meeting place for the German and international MIP delegates at the beginning of the trade fair.
The MIPCOM (October 13 to 16, 2014) is the world’s most important market for entertainment content. The 30th jubilee is expecting to welcome approx. 13,500 international participants – producers, sellers, buyers as well as financiers and distributors – and around 2,100 exhibiting companies from over 100 countries.
The nominees for the International Emmys (October 13) will be announced again during the MIPCOM. The ceremony for the prizes for the best international TV programmes will take place in New York on 24 November. (www.iemmys.tv)
