„German Pavilion“ at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival

German Films and FOCUS Germany join forces for the 14th time to showcase their activities in the „German Pavilion“ at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival

The German Pavilion in the International Village of the Marché du Film has been a popular platform for many years for people to get know each other personally and to foster an exchange between the accredited festival delegates from the German and international film industries in Cannes. The pavilion’s location right next to the Festival Palais is ideal for making interesting new contacts during a visit or spending time on the attractive seaside terrace to read the latest trade news. The view of the sea and the Croisette as well as the pavilion’s pleasant atmosphere not only offer a break from the festival’s hurly-burly, but also inspiration for new projects and conversations.

German Films and FOCUS Germany, the amalgamation of the seven major regional film funds, have now been organising the “German Pavilion” for more than 14 years.

The following institutions are represented in the „German Pavilion“:
FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Film- und Medienstiftung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung und nordmedia Fonds Niedersachsen Bremen; the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM), German Federal Film Board (FFA) and German Films Service + Marketing GmbH.

The telephone and fax numbers of the „German Pavilion“ will be announced at a later date.
