"German Pavilion" at the 76th Festival de Cannes
(16 – 27 May): a platform for the German film scene

German Films and FOCUS Germany appearing together at the "German Pavilion”

The German Pavilion in the Village International of the Marché du Film has long been the meeting place and contact point for accredited delegates of the German and international film industry attending the Festival de Cannes. Situated right next to the Festival Palais between the sea and the Croisette, the German Pavilion is the ideal place for making contacts, exchanging views and information, having meetings and talking about projects in a relaxed atmosphere a stone’s throw away from all of the festival hustle and bustle.

This year will again see the visitors having access to seating inside as well as on the large terrace for their meetings. They will also be able to receive expert advice at the information stands of German Films and FOCUS Germany situated in the entrance area.

The German Pavilion is organised by German Films, the national information and advisory centre for the international promotion of German films, and FOCUS Germany, the umbrella organisation of the nine main regional film funds: FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, Hessen Film & Medien, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM), nordmedia – Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen/Bremen, MV Filmförderung, as well as the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and the German Federal Film Board (FFA) on the federal level.

The stand number of the "German Pavilion" this year is 124.
